Important News for Lloyds TSB Customers

LloydsTSB BACSTEL IP smart card and signing software replacement

Over the next few months LloydsTSB will be replacing all current BACSTEL-IP cards with new cards and software.

This does mean your current smart cards will have to be replaced by the bank.

LloydsTSB will give you plenty of notice before they issue your new smart cards and software, and it is a gradual process for customers from Q3 2008 to Q3 2009, however if you would like a copy of the new software for your own internal testing, please contact LloydsTSB direct on 0870 9025210 and choose option 2. Please do not ring interSoftware as we cannot supply the software.

The new software will be compatible with the following Operating Systems:

If you have an earlier version of Windows or run MAC on your desktop or Linux on a server, you should consider moving to a Microsoft supported platform.

Aztech BACS-IP software should not require any configuration changes when your new smart card and signing software are used, however if you have any problems please ring the AzTech BACS-IP support desk on 0870 787 4433 press option 3 to speak to a support technician.

Friday 15th August 2008

LloydsTSB will temporarily stop issuing new or replacement smartcards

Tuesday 27th August 2008

LloydsTSB re-commence the issue of new or replacement smartcards

Please note: LloydsTSB will be unable to issue new or replacement cards between these dates. So please ensure that you have adequate contingency in place between 15 August and Monday 01 September. Please contact LloydsTSB BACSTEL IP Support Centre (see below)  for further guidance.
